General Accessibility at SRO Shows:

If you require any type of disability accommodation at the show itself, in most cases accommodations are available. Although SRO only provides audience recruiting services and possibly some onsite audience coordination and relies on the event organizer and the venue operator to provide reasonable disability access at the event itself, SRO will make reasonable modifications to its policies, practices and procedures, coordinate with the event organizer or venue operator and provide auxiliary aids and services for SRO members with disabilities requiring such accommodations at an event. You do not need to notify anyone before applying for a show. If you do receive a confirmation, and have concerns about your personal accessibility to the show or feel that you may need special accommodations at the show, please send an email to support@standingroomonly.tv within 48 hours of your attendance so that SRO can help notify the studio and the studio can determine whether the circumstances surrounding a particular show will allow for the necessary accommodation. Please note that SRO or the show organizer may not be able to accommodate every need for every show and may only be able to make accommodations to a limited number of people at a particular show. If you have not contacted us with 48 hours advance notice, we cannot guarantee that the necessary accommodations will be available at the time of the event.

General Accessibility to the SRO Site or Third Party Sites:

SRO is continually working to make our website and services accessible to anyone with auditory, visual, mobility or other disability issues and to make our website compliant with industry standards. If you require assistance using the SRO site, or setting up an account due to any disability, please send us an email to support@standingroomonly.tv or call (323) 645-4425, and let us know how we can help you.

Are SRO Shows ADA Accessible?

In most cases, yes, however, given the circumstances surrounding a particular show or venue in which the show is held, or the number of other individuals requiring similar accommodations, the show or venue may not always be able to facilitate the necessary accommodation. SRO will make reasonable modifications to its policies, practices and procedures, coordinate with the event organizer or venue operator, and provide auxiliary aids and services for SRO members with disabilities requiring such accommodations at an event.

Can I Bring a Service Animal to an SRO Show?

Yes, provided the service animal meets the ADA definition that defines it as a dog that has been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability and the presence of the dog is otherwise acceptable to the event organizer and venue operator. The tasks performed by the dog must be directly related to the person’s disability. Please note that emotional support, therapy, comfort, companion animals or service-animals-in-training are not considered service animals under the ADA. If you intend to bring a service animal to an event, please contact us in advance by sending an email to support@standingroomonly.tv within 48 hours or call (323) 645-4425 so that we can help the studio determine if there are any issues with your attendance at the event with a service animal and help coordinate your attendance with a service animal with the event organizer and venue operator. If you have not contacted us 48 hours in advance, we cannot guarantee that the necessary accommodations for your attendance with a service animal will be available at the time of the event. In addition, you are responsible for the conduct of your service animal at all times.
